Privacy Policy Statement

 Red Door Property Management Services meets or exceeds all privacy standards established by provincial legislation, the federal Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act and all other applicable laws.

 

We are committed to the protection and privacy of any and all personal information we collect, use, and store whether, it be on our customers, suppliers or employees. We have assigned the responsibility of Privacy Officer to Donna Dagg who will ensure compliance to our Privacy Policies and Procedures. Our procedures and security measures are audited regularly to ensure that they are properly administered and remain effective and appropriate.

 

We will collect only that personal information from our customers, which is required to make credit decisions, and for billing information and only that personal information from our employees, which is necessary to manage their compensation, benefits and performance.

 

We will obtain consent from our customers and employees before collecting and using personal information about them.

 

We assure our customers we will not sell, disclose or otherwise use any personal information we have gathered about them for any other purpose other than those for which consent was originally obtained unless we have obtained a new consent form.

 

Personal information gathered about our customers and employees will not be retained for longer than is necessary.  We have established guidelines to ensure personal information about our customers and employees is destroyed when it is no longer required.

 

We will ensure to the best of our ability that all personal information we have gathered and retained about our customers and employees is as accurate and up to date as possible to ensure that we are using appropriate information in our decision-making processes.

 

We will protect the security of all personal information we have gathered and retained about our customers and employees. Security includes physical protection (locked filing cabinets, offices), organizational security (employee security access restrictions), as well as technological measures (electronic security system, security cameras, and computer passwords).

 

Upon request we will provide our customers and employees with specific information about our policies and procedures relating to the gathering, use, security and destruction of personal information gathered. Upon request we will provide our customers and employees with details and a copy of any personal information we have gathered about them and how the information was used. We agree to amend any information if its accuracy and completeness is challenged and found to be deficient.

 

Donna Dagg is our Privacy Officer and will answer any questions or enquiries our customers and employees have.  She will investigate all complaints received and take appropriate measures to correct the situation by amending and updating policies and procedures relating to our information handling systems.
